Job Summary
  • Our shop is located in Hackensack, NJ.
  • We do Gas and Diesel repairs as well as flatbed and heavy duty towing. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team.
CDL A NO RESTRICTION REQUIRED
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional roadside assistance and towing services to our customers.
This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to operate various types of tow trucks effectively. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and wheel-lift models, to safely transport vehicles. Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring no damage occurs during the process. Conduct basic automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing. Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their needs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tow trucks to ensure safety and reliability. Navigate various road conditions and traffic situations while adhering to all traffic laws. Skills Proficient in driving tow trucks and operating manual transmission vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and diagnostics. Experience with loading and unloading vehicles safely using appropriate techniques. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices. Ability to operate forklifts as needed for vehicle handling tasks.
