Class A Truck Driver

Sign-on Bonus Responsibilities:

Vacuum Truck Operator will drive and operate the truck. Operator will be hauling and unloading various fluids (fresh water, brine/salt water, and other associated fluids). Verifying the types of materials being transported and ensuring that they do not exceed weight restrictions. Filling out Daily Inspection before and after every trip in accordance with DOT regulations. Performing regular maintenance to ensure that the truck is in good working order. Complying with all DOT safety rules and regulations. Ensures that work areas are clean and safe. Follows safety guidelines and regulations. Attend monthly safety meetings. Follow on-call schedule. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent mechanical skills. Ability to read, write and speak English so that all instructions are understood. Ability to understand and write proper JSA's for every job/location. Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior workers. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Valid Class A driver license along with tanker endorsements and a clean driving record.

Education and Experience:

1 year of previous related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Physically able to perform heavy manual labor. Prolonged periods of walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, pull or push, reach, and climb. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time.
