Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including dump trucks, and pump trucks. This role involves transporting sewer waste to landfill while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential. Duties Operate a variety of trucks, including dump trucks, pump trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight or sewage as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials. Follow assigned routes for deliveries while maintaining schedules and timelines. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all safety protocols while driving and during loading/unloading operations. Skills Proficient in operating various types of trucks including dump trucks, and pump trucks. Experience with route driving to ensure timely appointments. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles. Strong attention to detail in maintaining logs and records. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance with traffic regulations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Underground plumbing work knowledge is a plus!
