In this role you will deliver freight within a regional radius of up to 250 miles, maintain full DOT compliance, and represent Minutemen Transport with professionalism at every stop. Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely within a regional delivery radius of up to 250 miles. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations (49CFR Part 396). Pick up and deliver freight accurately, obtaining required signatures and shipping documentation. Maintain accurate driver logs, Bills of Lading, delivery receipts, and all required records. Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or vehicle issues. Secure and verify cargo properly to prevent damage or loss during transit. Adhere to all hours-of-service (HOS) regulations and company safety policies. Keep the assigned vehicle clean, fueled, and in roadworthy condition at all times. Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately to management. Assist with loading and unloading as required by the customer or load type. Requirements & Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) — required. Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience. Clean MVR with no more than 0 moving violations in the past 10 years. Must pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, and background check. Familiarity with regional roadways within the Nevada/surrounding states corridor. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs unassisted. Strong time-management skills and commitment to on-time delivery. Professional communication with customers, shippers, and the dispatch team. High school diploma or GED preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating flatbed and dry van trailers. Tanker endorsement is a plus. Familiarity with ELD (Electronic Logging Device) systems. Veterans and military-experienced candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
