Function:

The Collection Center Attendant will be responsible for all matters pertaining to the operations and security of the Certified Collection Center (CCC).

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for all matters pertaining to the operations and security of the Certified Collection Center (CCC) while on duty. 2. Receive and receipt, as per policy, all donated material in a courteous and efficient manner. Safeguard all donated materials and assigned equipment. 3. Courteously advise donors of material that is not acceptable. Advise donors of heavy materials that should be picked up by route truck. 4. Maintain the CCC and surrounding area in a neat and clean condition. 5. Report immediately to supervisor the following: a) Complaints b) Damage and any unsafe conditions to CCC c) Any injuries occurring on or near CCC for which The Salvation Army might be liable. 6. Sort and load trailers per center policy. 7. Do not allow unauthorized personnel in the CCC. 8. No merchandise is to be kept, sold, or otherwise diverted without written permission from the administrator. 10. Other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor and/or Administrator.

Qualifications:

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 2. Ability to lift 100 pounds. 3. Excellent customer service skills.
