Schedule:
4:00 AM Start About the Role We are looking for a reliable and energetic team player to join our Sanitation Department in the nice Bloomingburg area. In this role, you will ride on the back of our sanitation trucks and collect residential garbage. You will be part of a two-person crew on the back of the truck, ensuring you always have a partner to share the load, help each other out, and work efficiently. You will be working with a brand-new, state-of-the-art sanitation truck equipped with the latest technology. This includes an automatic lifting handle designed to easily empty standard 95-gallon buckets, which reduces the physical strain of the job. Our routes run in the early morning to take advantage of low traffic, making the work smoother and safer.
Key Responsibilities Collect and Load:
Safely maneuver and empty garbage receptacles into the back of the sanitation truck, as well as utilizing the truck's automatic lifting technology for 95-gallon bins.
Team Collaboration:
Work side-by-side with your partner on the back of the truck to efficiently clear the route.
Ride Safely:
Ride securely on the exterior steps of the truck between stops, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
Maintain Pace:
Complete the morning routes promptly, starting at 4:00 AM.
Requirements & Qualifications Early Riser:
Must be dependable and ready to start work at 4:00 AM sharp.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand, walk, and maneuver garbage bins consistently throughout the shift.
Team Player:
Comfortable working closely with another crew member and communicating effectively with the driver.
Reliability:
Punctuality and consistent attendance are strictly required for this twice-a-week schedule.
Comfortable Outdoors:
Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
Pay:
From $26.00 per hour
