Contento's is hiring a motivated, dependable CDL Class A or B Driver to operate and haul with our specialized fleet of trucks and trailers supporting scrap processing, demolition, and hauling projects across Central New York.

What You'll Do:
Operate various straight trucks, roll-offs, dump trucks, tractor trailers, walking floor trailers, dump trailers and lowboys Drive within a 3-hour radius of our Cortland facility, demolition sites and other job locations Work independently and follow schedules provided by dispatch Communicate with dispatch team via phone, text, or verbal instructions Wear company-issued PPE as required Safely lift/move equipment, materials, or objects up to 50 lbs Perform duties in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions Follow all NYS and federal DOT regulations Enjoy a consistent schedule with reliable time off What You Need to
Qualify:
CDL Class A or B license with no automatic transmission restrictions At least 1 year of commercial driving experience in similar assets to our fleet 21 years of age or older Must pass pre-employment drug screening Valid DOT physical and current medical card No DUI/DWI convictions in the last 3 years Clean driving record including no "major" violations in the last 60 months, no more than 1 "minor" moving violation in the last 36 months and no more than 1 at-fault accident within the last 36 months
