Job Description

Clean Harbors is seeking a safety-focused CDL Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics operations. In this role, you will operate CDL vehicles to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to and from customer sites, transfer facilities, and disposal locations. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs and manifests, and strictly follow DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations. As part of a team dedicated to environmental protection, you'll contribute to meaningful sustainability projects while working within a culture that prioritizes safety, integrity, and professional growth. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL vehicle to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials Comply with DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company safety regulations and procedures Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs Handle, load, secure, and unload waste and industrial materials per protocols Respond to scheduled routes and occasional emergency service calls Communicate with dispatch, project managers, and customers professionally Complete required documentation, manifests, and electronic logs accurately Participate in safety meetings, training, and ongoing skills development Required Skills CDL Class A or B driving Hazardous materials handling Tanker operation and safety DOT regulation compliance Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Electronic logging devices (ELD) Defensive driving techniques Load securement Route planning and time management Paperwork and manifest completion
