We are currently hiring an experienced mover and box truck driver to join our team. We focus on providing a professional moving experience from start to finish. That means properly wrapping and protecting furniture, protecting floors and walls, loading trucks correctly, communicating clearly with customers, and treating every home and belonging with care. We are specifically looking for someone with professional moving-company experience who already understands how a quality move should be performed. This is not an entry-level moving position. This position includes both moving and driving responsibilities. You will drive 15'-26' box trucks between job locations while also working alongside the crew throughout each move. Duties Drive 15'-26' box trucks safely between job locations Load and unload furniture, boxes, appliances, and household items Properly wrap and pad furniture before transport Protect floors, walls, doors, and door frames as needed Properly load, stack, and secure household goods inside the truck Use moving equipment including dollies, hand trucks, moving blankets, straps, and other equipment Perform basic checks of the truck before and after jobs, including fuel level, cleanliness, and visible damage Communicate professionally with customers and other crew members Work efficiently as part of a moving crew Maintain a clean, professional appearance and respectful presence on job sites Provide attentive customer service throughout each move Help maintain company trucks, equipment, and moving supplies Skills & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of professional moving experience with a licensed moving company in New York State required Must be able to provide verifiable proof of previous W-2 employment with a licensed moving company Valid driver's license required Experience and confidence driving 15'-26' box trucks Acceptable driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements Strong understanding of proper furniture wrapping, loading, securing, and household-goods handling techniques Physically able to repeatedly lift and carry heavy furniture, boxes, and household items Dependable, punctual, and able to arrive ready to work Strong attention to detail Professional attitude and good customer-service skills Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to communicate and work effectively as part of a team Schedule & Compensation This is a part-time position with hours based on our moving schedule and customer demand. Experienced Mover Sign-On Bonus Candidates with at least 2 years of verifiable W-2 experience working for a licensed moving company may qualify for: $250 sign-on bonus Additional $500 bonus after successfully completing 60 days Proof of qualifying previous employment will be required.
