Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roll-Off Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized trucks designed for hauling large waste containers, ensuring efficient pickup and delivery of roll-off dumpsters to various job sites. Your expertise in driving heavy-duty trucks combined with your mechanical knowledge will help maintain smooth operations and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate roll-off trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload containers. Transport waste containers to designated locations, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries across multiple sites. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Perform heavy lifting tasks related to loading and unloading containers, utilizing mechanical aids or manual effort as required. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and address any operational concerns promptly. Qualifications Prefer 1 year experience in commercial driving, particularly with heavy-duty trucks such as roll-off, front loader, rear loader, dump trucks, or flatbeds. Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems and basic troubleshooting skills. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL B or A) required . Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes. Familiarity with load & unload procedures for large containers and understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment use. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
