Commercial Driver Class B

A growing company is seeking prospective candidates for CDL Drivers to join our fast-paced and innovative team. The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Operate company 26' or 28' box trucks in a variety of different weather conditions Inspect product load for accuracy and complete delivery Scan out the finished goods while loading them onto trucks Locate, retrieve and proper handle and load Finished Goods, parts, and accessories into 26' or 28' box trucks for shipment accurately accordingly to match the BOL and Packing Lists Report to the Shipping Supervisor if there is any uncertainty with the paperwork, BOL or products which should be loaded Confirm the daily deliveries and payment needed to be collected prior to departure Collect cash and/or checks from COD customers Inform credit department and obtain approval if the payment from COD customers is not ready prior unloading products at customer locations Unload finished goods, parts and accessories from the back of the truck into customer locations Complete necessary paperwork for customer billing and give cash and checks to the cashier Notify the Shipping Supervisor if the customer is not present and obtain a picture of where the products are left only with the customer's consent Operate lift gate while unloading heavy products including Bay windows and Bow windows Report any products that are damaged to the Shipping Supervisor upon arrival as well as noting it on the signed packing list Report all quantities, pallet counts, box counts, metal counts of products which are picked up from customers and/or from vendors and send a picture of the items to the Shipping Supervisor prior to leaving the locations Report any products which are brought back to the company to the Warehouse Supervisor Communicate effectively and professionally with all customers, with an emphasis on

customer service Interact with customers to resolve delivery issues. Maintain accident-free delivery Clean out vehicles at the end of day Perform proper pre and post-trip inspection and write up any defects or concerns on vehicle condition report Complete either an electronic or physical log (log book) on a daily basis for all trips Comply with DOT rules and regulations Ensure safety, timeliness, and accuracy of all role requirements Assist with Inventory counts as required Maintain continuous improvement practices in work areas Follow Safety guidelines and procedures Qualifications and Experiences Valid CDL Class B driver's license Minimum of three (3) years of commercial driving or related delivery experience and/or training Able to lift and move up to 100lbs objects Ability to review documentation and create accurate paperwork and data entry Excellent customer service skills Possess strong verbal and written communication skills High school diploma

Salary:
