2991423932-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Orica is seeking a CDL Class B Driver to safely transport explosives, blasting materials, and related products to mining, quarrying, and oil & gas sites. In this safety-critical role, you will operate and inspect commercial vehicles, follow DOT and company regulations, complete delivery documentation, and assist with loading and unloading materials. You will coordinate with site teams, follow strict safety and environmental procedures, and support basic equipment checks. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL Class B commercial vehicles to deliver explosives and blasting materials Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks Comply with DOT, Haz Mat, and company safety policies and procedures Assist with safe loading and unloading of explosives and related products at customer sites Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and regulatory documentation Communicate with dispatch and site personnel to coordinate routes and schedules Follow site-specific safety, environmental, and security requirements Report vehicle, equipment, and safety issues promptly to supervisors Support adherence to Orica's safety and sustainability standards on all jobs Required Skills CDL Class B commercial driving Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Haz Mat handling and transportation Tanker operation (if applicable) Route planning and time management Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations Safety and PPE compliance Load securement and material handling Documentation and manifest completion Radio and dispatch communication
