Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver to join our team for the winter heating season. In this role, you will deliver propane to both residential and commercial customers throughout our service area. Propane delivery experience is not required — we will provide training to the right candidate. The position generally runs from November through mid-March, However we are willing to work with the right candidate on their exact start and end dates based on their availability and needs. Heavy hours and overtime are available throughout the winter season. We are looking for someone who is interested in working a strong schedule and taking advantage of the additional hours available during our busy season. Key Responsibilities Safely and efficiently deliver propane to residential and commercial customers throughout our service area. Operate propane delivery trucks in accordance with all applicable DOT, CDL, and hazardous materials regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure the vehicle and delivery equipment are maintained in safe operating condition. Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and reliable customer service. Safely connect delivery equipment and transfer propane in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations. Provide professional, courteous customer service at every delivery. Communicate any delivery, equipment, or customer issues to the office. Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience . Valid CDL Class A or Class B license. Valid Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements required. Clean and safe driving record. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe handling procedures for hazardous materials. Ability to safely operate and maneuver a propane delivery truck in residential and commercial locations. Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong commitment to customer service. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Propane delivery experience is preferred but not required — training will be provided. Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.
