They represent Red Barn Produce every day and are often the face of our company to our customers. Position Responsibilities As a Box Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and accurately delivering customer orders throughout the Hudson Valley and surrounding service areas.

Responsibilities include:

Safely operating a company box truck on assigned delivery routes Loading, unloading, and delivering customer orders accurately and efficiently Verifying orders and products during the delivery process Handling fresh produce and other food products carefully to maintain quality Providing friendly, professional service to customers Communicating delivery issues, shortages, returns, or customer concerns to the office Collecting payments or obtaining required delivery documentation when applicable Performing basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Promptly reporting vehicle maintenance or safety concerns Keeping the truck cab and cargo area clean and organized Following company safety, food-handling, and delivery procedures Assisting with additional delivery or operational needs when reasonably required Qualifications The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and comfortable interacting directly with customers. CDL is not required Clean and acceptable driving record Valid driver's license Ability to safely operate a box truck Ability to repeatedly lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and order accuracy Good communication and customer-service skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently while also being part of a team Reliable transportation to and from our Highland facility Ability to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures Previous delivery or box truck experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider the right candidate Schedule Monday through Saturday Start and finish times may vary depending on assigned routes and daily business needs Applicants must be dependable and available for their scheduled shifts Specific hours and scheduling expectations will be discussed during the interview. Uniform & Appearance Requirements Red Barn Produce drivers are representatives of the company while making deliveries.
