This role offers an exciting opportunity to interact with our field technicians and clients. As a key player in our logistics network, you'll ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety and professionalism on every route. Duties Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity and safety. Follow planned routes accurately while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure timely deliveries. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle inspections in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit. Assist with special delivery requirements Skills Strong knowledge of route driving best practices combined with excellent navigation skills to optimize delivery efficiency. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely under various conditions. Experience with load & unload procedures. Knowledge of safety standards related to commercial driving, including DOT regulations and vehicle maintenance checks. Skilled in managing time effectively to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safety standards.
