Job Description

Heritage-Crystal Clean LLC is seeking a Class B CDL Route Driver to safely service customers in the environmental and industrial services industry. In this role, you will operate a Class B commercial vehicle to collect used oil, waste, and related materials from commercial and industrial customers on a scheduled route. You will ensure all pickups, transfers, and deliveries meet DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspections, accurate completion of manifests and logs, proper handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, and providing professional, customer-focused service. You'll work closely with dispatch and operations, contributing to a culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship while supporting a growing, mission-driven organization. Responsibilities Operate Class B CDL truck on assigned routes to service customer locations Collect, transport, and unload used oil, waste, and related materials per regulations Complete required DOT, safety, and environmental documentation accurately Inspect vehicle and equipment, perform basic maintenance checks, and report issues Follow all company, DOT, and OSHA safety procedures and PPE requirements Provide professional, customer-focused service at each stop Handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials according to company training Maintain clean, organized truck and equipment Communicate route status, issues, and delays to dispatch or supervisor Support team members and assist with other field tasks as needed Required Skills Class B CDL driving DOT regulations compliance Hazardous materials handling Tanker and air brake operation Route planning and navigation Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Safety and PPE procedures Regulatory documentation and manifests Customer service Time management
