Administrator or Transport Coordinator Position Summary Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and organized Driver / Transportation & Supply Clerk to safely transport residents to and from medical appointments while assisting with the management, organization, and delivery of facility supplies. This position plays a vital role in ensuring residents receive timely access to healthcare services and that departments remain stocked with essential supplies to support quality resident care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Resident Transportation Safely transport residents to scheduled medical appointments, dialysis, hospital visits, therapy appointments, and other approved destinations. Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle using appropriate safety techniques and mobility equipment. Ensure residents are comfortable, secure, and treated with dignity throughout transportation. Maintain accurate transportation logs, mileage records, and vehicle inspection reports. Keep facility vehicles clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition. Report maintenance issues and schedule routine vehicle servicing as needed. Supply Management Receive, organize, and distribute medical and facility supplies throughout the building. Maintain organized supply storage areas. Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies require replenishment. Assist with stocking nursing units and departmental supply rooms. Receive deliveries and verify shipments for accuracy. Assist with inventory counts and supply audits. Coordinate movement of equipment and supplies between departments. Additional Responsibilities Assist residents with wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices. Follow all infection control, HIPAA, OSHA, and facility safety policies. Maintain professional communication with residents, families, physicians' offices, and staff. Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Valid New York State Driver's License with a clean driving record. Previous experience transporting passengers, preferably in healthcare or senior care, is preferred. Experience with inventory or supply management is a plus. CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Ability to safely assist residents with transfers and mobility. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts and wheelchairs. Physical Requirements Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting. Ability to assist residents in wheelchairs and with mobility equipment. Ability to safely operate facility vehicles in various weather conditions. Ability to lift and transport boxes and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
