CDL Class A - Dump Trailer Driver (Manual Transmission) F&R Industries - Medford, NY About the Job If you want steady work in a low‑pressure, no‑drama environment, F&R Industries is the place to be. We keep things simple, respect our drivers, and run a calm operation with shorter days than most sand/aggregate companies. Who We're Looking For A reliable, experienced driver who knows their way around a manual transmission and appreciates an old‑school, team‑oriented operation. Experience in the sand‑industry is helpful but not a must. We can provide brief training if you're solid behind the wheel. Schedule & Hours Monday-Friday Weekends off Average 40-60 hours per week (varies by workload) Pay & Benefits $30-$40 per hour Pay increases based on reliability and performance 401(k) matching Paid time off Requirements Class A CDL (2+ years experience) Manual transmission experience (18‑speed) Clean license Dump trailer experience preferred but not required Responsibilities Pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections Hauling sand, stone, and aggregate locally Fueling truck on‑site at the end of each day Local runs in Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island (no long‑haul) Why Drivers Like Working Here Low‑pressure atmosphere Respectful, steady operation No weekend work Consistent hours Straightforward routes Training available for drivers new to dump trailers
