Serious Candidates Only! LIV Motors Corp is looking to fulfill the positions of Part Time and Full Time CDL A Truck Drivers, Local work- hours vary.
Essential Functions:
Fully understand how to operate and safely drive a semi with a GVW of 80,000 lbs. Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document. Manage proof of delivery paperwork. Perform inspections and safety checks on the vehicle; breaks, steering column, lights and mirrors. As well as mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance prior to and following each trip. Always ensure the vehicle is kept clean. Inspect trailers before and after loading, paying attention to status of air lines and jack positions and adjusting them as necessary. Follow and maintain loading protocols, using chains and binders to secure cargo and rechecking their stability throughout trips. Ensure contents are properly secured on the truck to prevent breakage or damage. The ability to communicate with owner, dispatch and warehouse regarding deliveries as needed. Stay on predetermined route and ensure timely deliveries. Adhere to traffic safety regulations at all times, exercise caution in treacherous circumstances and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors. Must follow and comply with ICC and DOT Compliance regulations. Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs. Track and report working hours. Professionalism is a high standard in our company, it must be applied at all times.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Must have a valid CDL A drivers license and clean MVR driving record with no moving violations. Must pass background check and drug test upon hire. 2+ years proven CDL A driving experience. Physically and mentally fit. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Skilled at driving large vehicles. Comfortable maneuvering and parking a semi. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Proficient using GPS and other routing systems. Punctual, Disciplined, Hard Working, Dependable, and Reliable. High level of composure and good stress management. Must be able to speak, read and write in the English language. Please note that employees who are offered a position are subject to a DOT physical, a drug screen, and a background check with in accordance with state and Federal laws.

$1,200.00 - $2,100.00 per week
