Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with customers, site personnel, and dispatch
• Operate knuckle boom equipment safely and efficiently
• Multitask and adapt to changing job site conditions
• Operate commercial CDL vehicles in a safe and professional manner
• Perform job site duties in accordance with company and safety standards Safely operate tractor-trailer trucks, including flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, following FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Use GPS navigation systems to plan and execute efficient routes for over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and local deliveries Load, secure, and unload freight using manual handling techniques and crane boom operations, ensuring cargo safety and compliance with hazardous materials regulations when applicable Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods in accordance with hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols Drive delivery routes efficiently while maintaining communication with dispatch for route updates or changes Load and unload freight accurately, managing logistics cargo handling procedures for various types of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, or tanker shipments Conduct pre-trip inspections on trucks and equipment to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards before each trip Requirements Valid •CDL license • " Experience operating knuckle boom" equipment • Strong communication and multitasking skills • Clean driving record preferred • Construction or similar industry experience is a plus Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements , hazmat certification preferred Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or freight transportation, especially with route driving in diverse environments Experience operating boom cranes or similar lifting equipment as part of truck loading/unloading processes Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving and cargo handling Ability to manually handle heavy loads safely using proper techniques during loading and unloading procedures Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time navigation adjustments Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures for various types of freight including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dangerous goods Excellent driving record with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service Join our team if you're ready to drive forward your career in a fast-paced environment that values safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
