MUST have flatbed and/or end dump experience. Our equipment is preadmissions; 1970s to 1990s; so, experience with MANUAL transmissions is a MUST. We are a small family-owned business seeking a skilled CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team. The CDL Truck Driver will be responsible for planning and executing transportation of goods to our clients in a safe and timely manner. The successful candidate MUST have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), a clean driving record, and a keen understanding of road safety regulations. The role of a CDL Truck Driver is crucial to our supply chain, ensuring the delivery of products to clients safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain trucks to meet company standards and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts and all perinate paperwork.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations and collect perinate information
• Perform pre and post trip inspections of the truck and trailer
• Ensure all freight is secured to prevent damage

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a CDL truck driver
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Valid truck driving license (CDL)
• Must pass drug and alcohol test
• High School diplomat
• Bonus if you have TWIC, HAZMAT, Tanker endorsements
