Job Description

Become a fuel oil delivery driver with Marshall & Sons in Montauk! We are a family owned and operated growing business looking for qualified delivery drivers with
CDL & HAZMAT
endorsements.
A typical day here:
Report to the office at 8am. Pick up your tickets & organize them in the most efficient route. Speak with dispatch & owner to determine if any special instructions pertain to the day. Inspect the truck, begin making deliveries. Deliver fuel oil to various residences & businesses between Montauk and Hampton Bays, NY. Complete required paperwork after each delivery. Refuel at Bridgehampton once or twice per day. Complete required paperwork after refueling. Break for lunch. Continue making deliveries. Return to base, close out the truck, complete closing day paperwork, check in with dispatch & management. Occasional Overtime is available. This job comes with the opportunity to increase your skills and learning ability in the Air Conditioning, Propane Heating & Plumbing fields. Those who wish to learn a new skill and troubleshoot plumbing, heating & AC systems a few days a week in the summers are invited to go through our training program. Must be able to verbally communicate, as well as read & write in English. Must be able to add, subtract or use a calculator. Must be able to pull the delivery hose a minimum of 300 feet. Must have clean driver's license, CDL & HAZMAT. Must register for NY DMV Lens, the Clearinghouse, pass a pre-employment drug test & randomly assigned drug test throughout your employ. Must maintain decent physical health, pass physical exams, & be fingerprinted regularly. Federal DOT requirements include a DOT job application which can take time.
