      • Non-Exempt (At-Will)/
      Full-Time Purpose :
      • The Driver is responsible for providing timely, accurate, and safe deliveries of company equipment and materials to project sites throughout the region.
      The candidate will operate all vehicles in accordance with laws and in accordance with DOT regulations.
      Responsibilities :
      • Inspect vehicle before and after use according to DOT and company pre-trip inspection checklists
      • Deliver equipment and tooling from location to location via heavy commercial vehicle
      • Loading and securement of equipment, material, or other products onto the vehicle or attached trailer (may involve climbing ladders, walking on top of a vehicle/trailer, and safety operating equipment, rigging, securement straps, and tooling as necessary)
      • Offloading products from the vehicle or attached trailer at various locations (may involve climbing ladders, walking on top of a vehicle/trailer, and safety operating equipment, rigging, securement straps, and tooling as necessary)
      • Reconciling truck shipping and loading documents including DOT documents (i.e., time sheets and pre-trip inspection sheets)
      • Ability to safely operate a tractor trailer/tanker on a highway, obeying all traffic laws; and maintaining a valid driver's license
      • Immediately notify the Dispatcher of malfunctioning equipment or condition that needs immediate action
      • Able to lift and attach fuel hose to load fuel into tanker
      • Able to lift and attach fuel hose to unload fuel from tanker into fuel facility
      • Knowledge and compliance with all safety procedures
      • Ability to drive in harsh weather conditions as well as high traffic environments
      • Maintain appropriate driver's license, DOT Physical, and required endorsements
      • All other duties as assigned by management
      Experience :
      • 3+ years of professional driving experience utilizing a tractor trailer in both on road and off road environments
      Skills :
      • Possess clean MVR (no moving violations)
      • Industry and related product knowledge, as well as experience handling compressed gases, preferred
      • Basic Computer Knowledge
      Good Customer Service Skills Education :
      High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required
      Licenses or Certifications:
      • Class A CDL
      DOT Physical Card & Form Travel :
      • Travel is required
      Physical Requirements:
      The individual must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses, life vest, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done
      • Ability to sit for 30 minutes to 6 hours while driving
      • Ability to stand for 30 minutes-1 hour while unloading vehicle
      • Ability to walk to and from the vehicle (50 to 300 feet at one time)
      • Walking, stepping, climbing or otherwise moving from one location on the job site to another, and normally involves physically getting into and out of equipment through the use of vertical mounted ladders up to and including 10' or more in height Visually seeing driving operations well (either naturally or with corrective lenses) Standing, stooping kneeling, squatting, climbing and sitting Repetitive movements by feet, shoulders, arms, wrists, hands and back in performance of work Working at elevated heights Lifting 50 lb.
