Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Job Overview Our client, a local manufacturing company in Poughkeepsie, is seeking a dependable Class B CDL Driver with a Hazmat endorsement to make local product deliveries between work locations. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule. Trucks are loaded at the beginning of the day so you can get started on your delivery route. When you're not driving, you'll assist with warehouse and material-handling tasks, making this a great fit for someone who enjoys a combination of driving and hands-on work. Responsibilities Operate company vehicles safely to complete local deliveries. Transport products between work locations. Assist with loading and unloading trucks. Palletize orders and organize warehouse materials. Keep the warehouse clean and maintain an orderly work environment. Perform manual labor and other warehouse duties as needed. Maintain flexibility to work overnight shifts when required. Qualifications Valid Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement . Clean driving record. CDL driving experience required; experience transporting hazardous materials is a plus. Oil truck, garbage truck, or similar commercial driving experience is encouraged. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable performing manual labor in addition to driving responsibilities. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong commitment to safety and following transportation regulations.
