Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Dump Truck Driver and take charge of transporting materials efficiently and safely across various job sites. In this energetic role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks, ensuring timely delivery of construction aggregates, debris removal, and other bulk materials. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to navigate diverse routes will drive project success and keep operations moving forward. Duties Safely operate dump trucks, including tractor-trailers, and flatbeds, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Navigate over the road (OTR) routes using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules efficiently Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, load weights, and route details in compliance with DOT regulations Conduct pre-trip inspections on trucks to ensure safety standards are met and report any mechanical issues promptly Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving with tractor-trailers or flatbed trucks Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazard materials regulations, DOT standards, and safety procedures for truck loading/unloading Experience with GPS navigation systems and OTR driving routes to optimize delivery schedules Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely during load & unload operations Excellent driving record demonstrating safe driving habits in compliance with all DOT regulations
Pay:
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
