Job Description

Clean Harbors seeks a Class B CDL Driver to support environmental and industrial service operations. In this role, you will safely operate Class B vehicles to transport waste and materials between customer sites and company facilities. Responsibilities include conducting pre/post-trip inspections, complying with DOT and company safety standards, and ensuring proper loading, securing, and documentation of materials. You'll work closely with operations teams, support field service projects, and represent Clean Harbors' commitment to safety, integrity, and environmental protection on every route. Responsibilities Operate Class B CDL vehicles to transport waste and materials between customer sites and company facilities Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs Load, secure, and unload materials in compliance with safety, DOT, and company standards Complete required manifests, logs, and documentation accurately and on time Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies, including PPE use and safe driving practices Coordinate with dispatch and field operations teams to meet route schedules and service commitments Support industrial and environmental service projects as needed at customer locations Communicate professionally with customers and represent Clean Harbors' safety-first culture Assist in spill or emergency response activities under supervision when required Participate in ongoing training to maintain certifications and improve driving and safety skills Required Skills Class B CDL truck operation Safe loading and unloading procedures Hazardous materials handling Defensive driving DOT regulations compliance Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Route planning and time management Use of electronic logs and dispatch systems Basic paperwork and manifests Spill and emergency response support
