JOB DESCRIPTION

Sanico truck drivers play an essential role in our distribution chain. They are the final customer touchpoint in the order cycle. They make sure the right box gets to the right customer at the right time, and do it in a

COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL

manner. Professional delivery service is central to Sanicos business model of adding value and saving time for our customers. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the driver will deliver orders to Sanico customers on a daily basis. They will work collaboratively with the warehouse team to ensure quality and accuracy during the truck loading process.

Job qualifications:

Active DOT Medical card

REQUIRED

Active, clean drivers license

REQUIRED

(NYS Lens Program) Straight truck driving experience

REQUIRED

Physical job requirements include: independent manual lifting of freight up to 60 lbs. frequent climbing in/out of the delivery truck able to maneuver loads up and down stairs, ramps at delivery locations exposure to weather conditions as the season dictates Viable applicants will have also demonstrated the following attributes in their work history: Reliability - Perfect Attendance A spirit to serve customers Compliant with company safety protocols Pride in work and appearance Knowledge of local roads and highways, INCLUDING low bridges Good communication skills Attentiveness to detail to assure delivery accuracy
