Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Truck Driver to join our team located in Westbury, New York and Servicing the Tri- State Area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. Experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations is highly valued. Responsibilities Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for delivery purposes. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques. Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations. Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in compliance with safety standards. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred; experience with manual transmission is a plus. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Experience in warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is beneficial. DOT Medical Manadorty Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
