McGregor PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a community-based program designed to help seniors remain safely in their homes by providing comprehensive, coordinated healthcare and supportive services. Our mission is to offer a high-quality alternative to nursing home placement through compassionate, person-centered care. We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the independence and wellness of our participants by: Safely transporting elderly individuals to and from the PACE center Providing transportation to medical appointments and other required destinations Assisting participants as needed to ensure comfort and safety during boarding, riding, and exiting Delivering program supplies or equipment as requested Representing PACE with professionalism, courtesy, and a commitment to exceptional service If you are passionate about serving older adults and contributing to a mission-driven organization, we encourage you to apply. Minimum Qualifications Valid Ohio driver's license with no more than two points on record at the time of hire (CDL not required). Experience operating large vehicles required (ex. Uhaul, Amazon, transport vans/buses, etc.) At least one (1) year of experience working with frail or elderly individuals required. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Working knowledge of Akron and Summit County streets preferred.
