We are seeking an experienced Regional CDL A Company Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating reefer trailers across state routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. You have the ability to be home every other day, but it can affect your pay. We encourage you to start your week on Sunday and end between Thursday and Friday. Drivers are home most weekends. Pay starts at 58cpm and you'll be up to 60cpm within 6 months. Area of Operations We service all of Ohio, the edge of Indiana, Syracuse, all over PA, New England and sometimes western Massachusetts. We have freight that goes into Quebec if you have a passport. There are no backhauls out of Canada. Average miles are between 2500-3000/week. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with automatic transmission across regional routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards. Most freight is drop and hook. Transport refrigerated goods Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with DOT regulations. Follow designated routes efficiently while managing delivery schedules to meet deadlines. Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues promptly for repair. Assist with route planning to optimize efficiency and safety during deliveries. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record Minimum age of 25 No more than 2 serious moving violations in the last 3 years Must not be prohibited from operating a commercial vehicle in the FMCSA Clearinghouse No loss of CDL due to disqualifying offenses in the last 3 years 2 years verifiable experience operating tractor-trailer Familiarity with various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers is a plus. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures for commercial driving Passport optional
