We are hiring a Lead Driver to operate our wheelchair‑accessible van, provide safe and reliable transportation, and help set the standard for future drivers as our company expands. This is a full‑time, stable position with a consistent schedule, paid training, and a company‑provided vehicle. What You'll Do Serve as the primary driver for our wheelchair‑accessible van Provide safe, courteous transportation to medical appointments, dialysis, therapy, and essential destinations Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing mobility devices Maintain on‑time performance and communicate professionally with dispatch Complete trip logs, mileage reports, and basic vehicle checks Help establish best practices for future drivers as the company grows What We Provide Company vehicle (no personal vehicle required) Fuel card Paid training , including securement and passenger assistance Safety equipment provided Supportive dispatch and leadership team Consistent full‑time hours What We're Looking For Clean driving record and valid Ohio driver's license Reliable, punctual, and professional Comfortable assisting passengers who use wheelchairs Able to lift, push, and secure mobility devices safely Strong communication and customer service skills Experience in NEMT, paratransit, medical transport, or caregiving is a plus Leadership mindset — someone who takes pride in doing things the right way Schedule Full‑time Consistent daytime hours Pay $16
- 19/hr (company vehicle provided)
Certification Bonus:
Applicants who already hold valid CPR/First Aid and Passenger Assistance Training (PAT) certifications are eligible for a $250 bonus , paid after 90 days of employment . CPR/First Aid must be in‑person (or blended with an in‑person skills check). Online‑only CPR is not valid for our drivers.
