Job Summary We are seeking motivated Owners and Operator Van Drivers to join our dynamic delivery team! Duties Safely operate your personal or company-provided van, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment as needed. Plan and follow optimized routes using mobile devices to ensure timely deliveries across designated areas. Interact professionally with customers during delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with maintenance standards. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records using mobile devices or paper forms. Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy items and ensure proper weight handling in the workplace. Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box trucks is a plus. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and use manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Knowledge of traffic regulations, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices required. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients. Experience with warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation, and heavy lifting is desirable.
