Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers and roll-off trucks, while ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent route planning skills, and the ability to handle manual transmission vehicles. Duties Operate trucks for the delivery of goods to designated locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of freight, utilizing forklifts when necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including route details and cargo documentation. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety compliance. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. Manage refrigerated trailer operations for temperature-sensitive deliveries. Collaborate with dispatchers to optimize delivery schedules and routes. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery points. Experience Proven experience as a Truck Driver, preferably with a background in route driving or delivery driving. Familiarity with operating various truck types, including tankers and roll-off trucks. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
