Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customers along designated routes, ensuring timely and efficient service. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong customer service abilities, and the capacity to handle some lifting. As a Route Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and representing our company positively in the community. Duties Safely operate a delivery vehicle along assigned routes to ensure timely deliveries. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes. Utilize basic math skills to calculate delivery quantities and pricing as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues on-site. Perform some lifting of products as required during loading and unloading. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or customer feedback. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling pricing and inventory calculations. Ability to perform lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are crucial for success in this position.
