As a vital link in our logistics network, you will ensure timely, safe deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, on regional and local routes while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Drive over-the-road (OTR) routes when needed, managing long-haul deliveries with precision and professionalism. Utilize GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes for timely deliveries across designated regions. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load securement, brake systems, and fluid levels. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and cargo manifests in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly. Requirements Valid CDL-A experience operating tractor-trailers preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of commercial truck driving, including manual transmission operation Familiarity with GPS navigation tools for route planning and real-time tracking. Ability to manually handle freight safely while adhering to safety protocols for hazardous materials when applicable. Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety practices) Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service excellence.
