Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials to and from job sites. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards on the road and at work sites. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, materials transported, and vehicle maintenance. Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate deliveries. Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed. Perform minor mechanical repairs and maintenance on vehicles when necessary Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL a or b) with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating dump trucks and heavy equipment. Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting basic vehicle issues. Familiarity with grader operation, loader operation, paving techniques, and bulldozing is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
