Job Overview We are seeking a dependable Class A Driver to join our transportation team! In this role, you will support our production needs, ensuring timely and safe delivery and pick up of material across various local routes. Duties Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws. Responsible for monitoring road and traffic conditions at all times to prevent accidents. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, including brakes, lights, tires, and load securement Responsible for appropriately distributing and tying down all loads to ensure safety, using tarps as required. Picks up and delivers containers at customer sites on a timely and efficient basis. Monitors mechanical functions of the truck. Knows materials and what they are allowed to haul and what not to haul (hazardous materials). This position makes safety a top priority and looks for opportunities to improve safety, follows all safety rules, and wears appropriate PPE at all times. Communicates to the manager immediately any accidents that may have happened with or without damage or any damage done at a customer's facility. Drive a variety of trailers including roll-off trucks, flatbeds, lugger, car hauler, etc. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and route details in compliance with federal regulations Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery route driving and freight handling. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial drivers. Physical ability to lift heavy material regularly and perform vehicle inspections thoroughly. Three sided car hauler experience required. Roll Off experience is preferred. Tractor Trailer- Frameless Dump Trailer experience preferred.

Work Hours:
