Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Local Class A CDL Driver to join our team! This vital role involves safely transporting freight within local routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission Drop and Hook locations with occasional live load and unload at customers Navigate using GPS systems to ensure accurate delivery routes and timely arrivals. Maintain compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to ensure vehicle safety and readiness. Document delivery activities accurately, including logs for load & unload procedures, route driving records, and delivery confirmations. Early to late morning start times and home at night Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently. Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight Experience with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning. Excellent manual handling skills for loading/unloading cargo safely. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Pay:

From $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 35.0 per week
