Five Star Moving and Storage is the area's leading moving company. We pride ourselves on mixing an exciting fast-paced work environment with a team that knows how to work hard and have fun. Five Star Moving and Storage is hiring mover/driver and navigator positions to provide hauling and moving services to both residential and commercial clients.
Requirements Include:
  • Possess a CDL.
  • Safely operate a vehicle according to all federal, state, and local laws as well as all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
  • Transport assigned cargo on interstates or local roads to proper destinations.
  • Complete and maintain reports and all required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Positive, service-oriented attitude
  • The desire for personal learning, growth, and achievement Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Heavy lifting and physically demanding working conditions
  • Padding and wrapping customers' furniture and belongings
  • Providing customers with the highest standards of professionalism and service
  • Care in handling customer belongings
  • Safely operating trucks and equipment
  • Hauling unwanted items
  • Maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Assembling and disassembling furniture
  • Effectively communicating with customers
  • Accurately completing receipts/paperwork for every job
  • Securing payments at the end of all jobs Who are you? You are reliable, trustworthy, responsible, and hard working. You are a team player and goal oriented. You realize that this is a physically demanding job, but being out on the truck is always fun and beats the boredom of an office job. Shifts are flexible based on employee availability and trucks run 5-6 days a week.
  • Must have clean driving history (to be a driver)
  • Must have a valid driver's license (to be a driver) CDL A or B
  • Must be professional at all times
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have good physical strength and stamina
  • Must have ability to clearly communicate with customers
  • Must be able to work quickly and efficiently
  • Must have open availability on available work days
  • Prior moving experience a plus, but not necessary
