Role:

Responsible for operating company vehicles such as vans, light trucks and autos to perform a variety of pick-up and delivery tasks and miscellaneous errands. Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to: loading, unloading and transporting materials, goods, equipment and passengers between various local destinations; utilizing manual or mechanical materials handling equipment as required; preparing, obtaining, and completing shipping receipts, material transfer orders, packing slips and similar documentation as required; performing limited maintenance on vehicles such as fueling, minor service and washing; also operating company vehicles and trucks with over two axles to perform delivery tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Basic knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance and safety procedures. Ability to read and understand safety manuals, operational instructions, and delivery documentation. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

Commercial Drivers License - Class B preferred Certification in forklift operation or other relevant heavy equipment operation. Experience with GPS and route planning software for efficient delivery management. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety standards. Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Basic mechanical skills to perform minor equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
