Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Hazardous Materials Hauler to join our team. This role requires a professional driver who is responsible for the safe transportation of hazardous materials to designated locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to hazardous materials as well as oil and gas locations. Duties Operate semi with tanker for the transportation of hazardous materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Plan and follow designated routes for efficient delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and safety guidelines. Maintain accurate records of materials transported, including manifests and delivery confirmations. Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous materials, following all safety protocols to prevent spills or accidents. Stay updated on industry regulations regarding hazardous materials handling and transportation. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for transporting hazardous materials. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. A commitment to safety practices in handling hazardous materials is essential. Must be willing to work night shift and weekends as needed. Previous experience in hazardous materials transportation is preferred but not mandatory.
