Transportation Manager / Operations Manager Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Hazmat CDL Driver to safely transport and deliver petroleum products and other hazardous materials to customers and company locations. The driver will operate commercial tank vehicles, perform required inspections, complete delivery documentation, and comply with all applicable federal, state, and company safety regulations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial fuel tanker and other assigned vehicles. Transport gasoline, diesel fuel, and other hazardous materials. Load and unload petroleum products according to established procedures. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical issues. Verify product, quantity, delivery location, and customer information before unloading. Follow all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and company safety requirements applicable to the position. Maintain accurate delivery tickets, bills of lading, fuel records, and vehicle inspection reports. Properly secure hoses, valves, caps, and equipment during transportation. Follow emergency procedures for spills, leaks, accidents, and other hazardous-material incidents. Maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE). Keep the truck, trailer, and equipment clean and in safe operating condition. Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch. Use electronic logging devices (ELD) and other required technology. Maintain compliance with hours-of-service requirements. Report accidents, violations, vehicle defects, and safety concerns immediately. Perform other transportation-related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Valid Class A CDL . Current Hazmat (H) endorsement . Tanker (N) endorsement or X endorsement , as applicable. Valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate. Acceptable driving record. Ability to pass required DOT drug and alcohol testing. Ability to obtain and maintain a TSA Hazmat Security Threat Assessment . Previous tanker, fuel delivery, or hazardous-material driving experience preferred. Ability to safely handle hoses and related delivery equipment. Ability to work independently and follow detailed safety procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to repeatedly climb in and out of the truck. Ability to connect and disconnect fuel hoses. Ability to lift and carry equipment as required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations. hazardous-material transportation requirements , company policies, customer-site procedures, and emergency-response procedures. Preferred Experience 1-3+ years of commercial driving experience. Fuel tanker/petroleum delivery experience. Experience with loading racks and fuel terminals. Experience using ELD/GPS and electronic delivery systems. Knowledge of petroleum products and safe handling procedures.

Pay:

$25.60 - $30.83 per hour
