Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting refuse and recyclables safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving practices, route driving, as well as the ability to handle different types of freight. If you have a passion for driving and enjoy the open road, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Safely operate a truck to deliver freight to designated locations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods. Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle for safety compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Utilize manual transmission when required for specific routes or vehicles. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License Class B (CDL- B) with air brakes endorsement Ability to drive a manual transmission No more than 1 moving violation within the past 3 years. No license suspensions within the past 2 years. No DUI's within the past 5 years or 2 in any 10 year period. Experience in truck driving, preferably with knowledge of route driving and freight handling. Familiarity with operating various types of trucks (Roll-Off and Front Load are plus) Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo. Strong time management skills to meet delivery deadlines efficiently. Excellent communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and clients. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies.
