Love driving? Love working with seniors? Come have some fun with us! SarahCare is a leading provider of adult day health services for seniors. Our participants spend their days in a warm, safe, and engaging environment - and sometimes we take the fun on the road! We are looking for a friendly, outgoing Driver to provide transportation for participant outings. This is not a daily transporation route position. You'll drive our participants to scheduled outings, help them safely get in and out of the vehicle, and participate in the outing right alongside them. Whether it's a community event, lunch, shopping trip, or another fun activity, you'll be part of the experience - not just the person behind the wheel! What You'll Do Safely drive participants to and from scheduled outings. Assist participants getting in and out of the vehicle and provide support as needed. Participate in outings and help make the experience enjoyable for our participants. Help ensure participant safety throughout the outing. Complete required transportation records and vehicle logs. Monitor the vehicle and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Follow all driving, safety, emergency, HIPAA, and confidentiality requirements. Communicate participant concerns or incidents to the appropriate staff. Participate in required staff meetings and training. What We're Looking For A valid Ohio driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine enjoyment of working with older adults. Dependable and safety-minded. Comfortable assisting participants with mobility and getting in and out of a vehicle. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. CPR and First Aid certification preferred; training can be provided as required. Why You'll Love This Job This isn't your typical driving job!
