Pay:

This driver will transport, remove, deliver, and collect various liquid and solid hazardous wastes from various customer sites. Will be required to load and unload trucks. They will also have the ability to operate a variety of truck and equipment including vacuum trucks, box trucks, and any other equipment that fits their license on site if necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Delivery:

Safely transport, load, unload, and maneuver vehicles into position at customer sites while keeping work areas clean.

Safety & Compliance:

Conduct pre-/post-trip inspections and ensure full compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, hours of service, and hazardous materials guidelines.

Documentation & Logs:

Complete and maintain driver logbooks, manifests, bills of lading, and load documentation accurately.

Communication & Support:

Maintain professional communication with customers and team members, report defects/accidents promptly, and assist with training as needed.

Requirements:

• CDL A with clean driving record.
• Tanker endorsement required , hazmat endorsement highly preferred.
• Must be able to drive manual transmissions.
• Overtime as required.
• Weekend work may be required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance.
• Familiarity and experience working with government documents such as manifests.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors.
• Manual dexterity, ability to lift 75+ lbs required.
