What You'll Do (The Role): As our CDL Truck Driver, you will safely and efficiently transport our custom steel fabrications and machinery to local and regional destinations.
Secure & Transport:
Safely strap, chain, and secure large cargo/machinery on flatbed trailers according to safety regulations.
Deliver Excellence:
Safely transport and oversee the loading/unloading of materials, ensuring everything arrives on time and intact.
Keep It Running Smoothly:
Maintain a clean truck, keep accurate logs (per state/federal regulations), and report any maintenance needs to keep your rig in top shape.
Team Up:
Work closely with our shop team, occasionally using basic hand/power tools, and chip in on related tasks to keep the operation running smoothly.
What We're Looking For:
License:
Valid CDL-A is required.
Transmission Skills:
Ability to confidently drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
Flatbed Experience:
Previous experience with flatbeds, strapping, and chaining is highly preferred.
Safety First:
A spotless driving record and a deep commitment to following all company, state, and federal safety policies.
Physical Capability:
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and handle the physical demands of cargo securement.
Flexibility:
