Responsibilities Operate CDL A tractor-trailers safely as a team driver on regional and long-haul routes Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, and Hours-of-Service rules Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs Secure and handle freight properly to prevent damage and loss Maintain accurate logs, trip records, and required delivery documentation Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and delivery status Meet on-time pickup and delivery schedules while optimizing fuel and time Provide professional, courteous customer service at shippers and receivers Support a culture of safety, respect, and teamwork within Hogan Transportation Participate in ongoing training to maintain CDL and endorsements as required Required Skills CDL A truck driving Team driving operations DOT and HOS compliance Tractor-trailer inspection and maintenance reporting Freight securement and handling Electronic logging devices (ELDs) Trip planning and routing Defensive driving and safety practices Written and verbal communication Basic mechanical troubleshooting
