CDL Driver:

Delivering materials within 100 miles of our branch to various locations and construction sites using commercial vehicles (over 26,000 GVWR). Handling loading and unloading of materials, whether by hand, cart, forklift, or crane. Conducting a Pre-Trip inspection of the truck, verifying load accuracy, and ensuring proper load securing. Planning the most efficient delivery route and assessing job sites with team members for potential hazards. Manually unloading materials, using carts, forklifts, or NCCCO Boom Crane. Collecting delivery paperwork signatures from customers and relaying information to the dispatcher. Returning to the branch, reloading for the next delivery (either on the same day or the next morning). Assisting with customer loading in the yard and performing general warehouse/yard maintenance when required.

Qualifications we seek:

A CDL License, preferably Class B, that can be insured by our company. Knowledge of load capacity, CDL truck safety guidelines, and basic truck maintenance. Possession of a current DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one. Familiarity with building materials is desirable, although not mandatory.
