Job Description

Seeking experienced semi dump truck operator Full time 4 days/week. No electronic logs. No Saturday/ Sunday. Paid Holidays , 1 week vacation, paid holidays after 3 months. Variable work schedules available. OT after 10 hr/day. Typical day is 11 to 13 hours per day. Schedule is 4 days per week with the regularly scheduled recurring day off being Thursday. Home Nightly Responsibilities Transport aggregate materials over land to and from customers and facilities, all within 150 air miles. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Daily logs must be filled out by Driver Following designated heavy haul route set forth by permits for truck Skills Proven work experience as a dump truck driver Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Heavy equipment experience a plus. Valid Class A Commercial driving license required. Summary As a semi dump operator you will interact with customers two to four times a day. Your typical day will start at 3-4am, with you stopping a total of 4 times to load and 4 times to unload. You will be back by 4pm to preload for the next day's first trip.
