Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Driver is responsible for delivering products to customers while maintaining assigned routes and time schedules in a safe and timely manner. The position works closely with Operations to understand and carry out the ever-changing and immediate operational needs of the business. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities Delivering and picking up medical equipment Driving is a large part of this position's responsibilities and may include evening or weekend trips. This job requires the lifting of medical equipment weighing from 25 to 90 pounds; the heavier equipment must be loaded into the Company truck by liftgate Assist with loading/unloading delivery vehicles Ability to secure each delivery load properly Additional responsibilities as directed by your supervisor Company vehicle provided Professionalism, professional appearance, and good communication is a must Works well in a multi-task, high-volume environment and can triage accordingly Demonstrates excellent communication skills to receive and convey information clearly and effectively at all levels of the organization Possesses excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, vendors and guests Helps to identify continuous improvement processes and offers solutions to promote efficiency as DASA continues to grow Works professionally and efficiently with all levels within the organization Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices Performs other duties as assigned Experience/Training/Education High School Diploma 1-3 years' experience in relevant experience Must be able to drive a 26' box truck with liftgate

Physical and Environmental Elements Physical Demands:

Ability to sit for extended periods (often 8+ hours), and stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms for at least 1/2 of the normal work shift. Ability to climb stairs. Ability to lift and carry, push or pull up to 90 pounds for several minutes. Ability to stoop, crouch, reach, climb in out of the cab or cargo area.. Ability to talk or hear continuously. Ability to see clearly to do all work-related tasks (clear or corrected vision at 20 inches or less). Finger dexterity is required frequently for over 1/4 of the normal work shift. Use of hand trucks, dollies, lift gates, or other loading equipment.

Work Environment:

Position is typically performed primarily in a company vehicle, with frequent entry and exit throughout the shift. There is exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind. Exposure to traffic, road noise vehicle exhaust, and fumes. Special Requirements Must be able to work overtime when approved Must be able to travel (overnight on occasion).
